Located within the Sierra Norte development, La Cienega comprises 13 parcels of pristine section 16 state
trust lands. The master plan calls for mixed-use residential and commercial development. The land will be
available for sale or exchange in summer of 2008.
The New Mexico State Land Office will be accepting bids for the purchase or exchange of La Cienega lands
starting May 9, 2008. Sealed bids are due at the land office by August 14, 2008.
